| Ezzi Mannu is found in the far North West of the beautiful island of Sardinia (map), with its own long and sandy beach just a 5 minute drive from the villa. The pretty fishing village, Stintino, is just 10 km away and offers a good variety of individual shops and a good choice of cafes and restaurants, super markets and a weekly open market which is well worth a visit. Further on to the very tip is Capo Falcone, which over looks the Island of Asinara National Park and the most popular and stunning La Pelosa Beach, with its amazingly clear and turquoise shallow waters. Also in this area there is a variety of water sports and activities available, as well as half / full day boat and fishing trips from Stintino harbour. The wonderful historic town of Alghero is just 25 km and a must visit for museums, evening strolls along the old bastion wall and cobbled streets and for shopping, restaurants and bars. The Sella & Mosca Vineyards are also just 18 km from Ezzi Mannu and well worth a visit or an organised tour. |
