Location

Ezzi Mannu is found in the far North West of the beautiful island of Sardinia just 10 km from Stintino (map), a small fishing village with a good choice of cafes and restaurants, shops, super market and a weekly open market which is well worth a visit to stock up on the local produce. Further on to the very tip is Capo Falcone, which over looks the Island of Asinara National Park and the most popular and stunning La Pelosa Beach, with its amazingly clear and turquoise shallow waters.

The historic towns of Alghero and Sassari are within easy reach where you can visit museums and other places of interest found in the fact file or one can just stroll through the cobbled streets and enjoy the ambience. The local Agriturismos are well worth a visit where you can sample the delights of traditional Sardinian food and local wine.

*A car is essential for Villa Ezzi and recommended highly for exploring the exceptionally rugged countryside and stunning coastline.

Activities

The local area offers a variety of sporting activities such as wind surfing, deep sea diving, canoeing, and horse riding. Boats, pedalloes and jet skis can be hired from the Pelosa beach during the main season from May-September. Boat trips are also available from the harbour in Stintino to the island of Asinara National Park.

Travel links
The villa is most convenient for the area by plane or ferry and both provide good access to the villa thus making this part of your journey fast and easy. The nearest airport, Alghero, is just 45 minutes by car and the ferry at Porto Torres is just 30 minutes by car, making a shorter stay possible if required. Although a car is essential, we would strongly recommend a drive to otherparts of the Island to take in the beauty of the rugged and ever changing landscape.

Ryanair flies to Alghero (40 minute drive to Villa Ezzi) twice daily/daily from London Stansted (flying time approx 2 hours 10 minutes).

Charter flights to Alghero are available from Birmingham and Southampton.
